Surgical and dental mission, Operation Tule as part of the Province’ Founding celebration

Bontoc, Mountain Province –Free dental services, surgical operation and Operation Tule will be offered at the Bontoc General Hospital as part of the activities of the 49th Mountain Province Founding Anniversary.

According to Dr. Nenita D. Lizardo, the Provincial Health Officer II and Chairperson of the Surgical and Dental Mission and Operation Tule Committee, a surgical team from Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) headed by Dr. Jimmy Cabfit will be coming in the province to help during the surgical mission on April 7-8, 2016.  This is scheduled from 8 o’clock in the morning to 4 o’clock in the afternoon.

With this, she advised individuals who are in need for surgical operation to visit the BoGH –Out Patient Department (OPD) for the screening which started last February 1- April 4, 2016 at 9 o’clock in the morning to 4 o’clock in the afternoon. The screening will be conducted from Monday to Friday.

Aside from this, there will also be free Operation Tule on April 7, 2016 and dental mission in the afternoon of April 8, 2016.

The supplies and medicine needed for the conduct of this activities will come from the provincial government from the budget allocated for the 49th Mountain Province Founding Anniversary.

Every year’s celebration of the Province’ Founding Anniversary, bringing health services to the people is one of the activities conducted.// Alpine L. Killa
